LINKEDIN CASE STUDY POST TEMPLATE Bravabase — free writing template Source: https://bravabase.ai/templates/linkedin-case-study-post/ Updated: 2026-10-14 WHEN TO USE IT Use this when you have a completed piece of work and permission to discuss it. Choose a narrow decision a future client will recognize: simplifying a review process, choosing a launch scope or fixing a confusing handoff. You do not need a dramatic revenue number to teach something useful. GATHER YOUR NOTES - The situation before your involvement, with a source you can check. - One decision you made and the alternative you considered. - What you actually delivered or changed. - The observed result, its time period and any important limits. - What the client has approved for public use, including names, quotes and images. YOUR DRAFT [Specific project problem] was getting in the way of [important task]. The initial plan was to [first approach]. But [observation] showed us that [different constraint] mattered more. We changed [one concrete part of the work]: - [Action one] - [Action two] - [Action three] What changed: [documented outcome and time period]. What this does not prove: [limit or other possible explanation]. The lesson I would carry into a similar project: [practical principle]. [One relevant question about the reader's situation.] FICTIONAL WORKED EXAMPLE — NOT YOUR PERSONAL HISTORY Fictional example: a web agency helps a service business organize feedback before a launch. The example deliberately uses an observable process change instead of invented sales results. The website was ready for review. The feedback process wasn't. Each department was sending its own list, and some requests contradicted each other. Our first instinct was to schedule another design review. But the missing decision was who could approve the final version. We changed three things: - One person gathered the team's feedback. - Conflicting requests were resolved before they reached the designer. - The review document separated launch requirements from later ideas. The next review arrived as one agreed list. That was a process improvement we could see. We had not measured a change in sales or conversion. The lesson: agree on the decision process before adding another review round. Who has the final say when several people review your website? REVIEW BEFORE PUBLISHING - Could the client recognize themselves even if the name is removed? Confirm that the level of detail is approved. - Does every result come from your records rather than an AI-written draft? - Have you separated your contribution from other changes happening at the same time? - Does the closing question invite a useful discussion about the problem rather than demand a sales call?
